About Us

My name is Andi, and I am the owner of The Growing Patch (established in 2020), a licensed home based child care program. I have a bachelors in psychology and over 25 years experience working in childcare, special education, and social services. My family and I love opening our home to tiny humans and their families.

At The Growing Patch we explore the world through play. Most days are spent following the children’s curiosity where it takes us. We seize opportunities to use their natural intrigue to develop activities and conversations that lay the foundation for a healthy heart and mind as well as prepare them for grade school. Children’s physical and emotional wellbeing are our number one priority followed by developing friendships, independence, a sense of community, and pre-academic skills.
